Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Synergy Edge Solutions Ltd., company number 15531084, registered in England and Wales, registered office Tall Trees, Chipstead Lane, Sevenoaks, England, TN13 2RF, when you use TriviaTrek. By playing, you accept them. If you do not, do not play.
How old you have to be
You must be at least 13 to use TriviaTrek. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. We may close an account we believe belongs to someone younger than 13.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping access to it. You may hold one account. Do not sell, share, or transfer it. If you add a recovery email, keep it current - without it, an account lost with a lost device may not be recoverable.
Community rules
Usernames, family names and anything else you make visible to other players must not:
- harass, threaten, impersonate or single out anyone;
- contain slurs, sexual content, or content that is hateful towards a group of people;
- advertise, solicit, or link anywhere;
- break the law, or encourage anyone else to.
We can remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Report anything you see through the report control in the app, or by emailing hello@triviatrek.app - we read every report, and we will tell you what we did. If we act against your account and you think we got it wrong, reply to us and we will look again.
Playing fairly
Do not automate play, tamper with the app or our servers, exploit bugs for advantage, or attempt to reach data that is not yours. Do not send harmful or malicious content through the app, and do not interfere with the running of the service or anything connected to it, including our APIs and databases. Doing any of this ends your access, and any purchases or progress obtained that way go with it.
Purchases
The TriviaTrek Explorer Pass and any other purchases are sold through Apple's App Store and Google Play, under their terms and with their payment methods. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them, which you do in your Apple or Google account rather than with us. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. Virtual items and credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and end when your account does.
Prices are shown inclusive of any tax Apple or Google applies in your country. Synergy Edge Solutions Ltd. is not currently VAT-registered.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days - a right you may lose once the content is delivered and you have agreed to immediate delivery. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law.
What we own, and what you may do with it
The app, its questions, artwork, maps and name are ours. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TriviaTrek for your own entertainment. You may not copy, extract, resell, or republish our questions or artwork.
The service will change
We add, alter and remove features, quizzes and content. We may suspend the service for maintenance, or stop offering it entirely - in which case we will give reasonable notice in the app where we can.
Our liability
TriviaTrek is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a particular answer is correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of progress, in-app purchases or data. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
Your privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top, and we will tell you in the app before anything material takes effect. Carrying on playing after a change means you accept it. If you do not, you can delete your account - see Your account.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time - see Your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer law.
